How do I understand some terms in your curriculum?

To understand the terms in our curriculum please visit the glossary of terms

What is Virtual Training?

With Virtual Training you are assigned an instructor and you are given access to the course notes. The course notes are step-by-step direction and explanation of the topics covered in the course. While going through each lesson you have e-mail contact with your instructor in which you can ask questions and get assistance. After you complete each lesson you must upload the assignments to the school server and e-mail your instructor the path so that he/she can check it. In the event you get stuck with a problem the instructor will call you and walk you though it step by step.

With Virtual Training you are allowed a total of 3 'half hour calls' per course from the instructor. Some instructors will hold chat classes in which you can ask questions and the instructor will go over the materials. For those who feel they will need more help than what is offered with Virtual training, the 'Self Paced' Training is recommended.

What is Self-Paced Training

With Self-Paced Training you are assigned an instructor and you are given access to the course notes. The course notes are step-by-step direction and explanation of the topics covered in the course. You and your instructor will coordinate times and dates for 5 'half hour' phone sessions in which your instructor will go over course materials, up to 3 lessons per session. After the phone sessions you must complete the assignments for lessons covered and upload to the school server and e-mail your instructor the path so that he/she can check it. In between phone sessions you can e-mail your instructor with any further questions and/or problems you may run into. In the event you get stuck with a problem between sessions that cannot be solved via e-mail the instructor will call you and walk you though it step by step.

With Self-Paced Training you are allowed a total of 10 'half hour calls' per course from the instructor.

Are Payment Plans Available

The Tuition Payment Program is only available for Certificate Programs only, and not for individual courses. For more information visit the Tuition Page.

Is Job Placement Available

Occasionally ITTC receives calls from employers looking to hire graduates with specific skills and ITTC staff will recommend students who completed the courses and that showed a understanding of the materials covered.

Through research we find that companies that are hiring in the Web Development field the employers are not interested in where you went to school or what type of certificate you hold. They are interested in what you know and want to see examples of work you have completed. ITTC Webmaster Program's final project incorporates all you have learned which can be used as part of your portfolio for your job search. Each of ITTC's courses has final projects that are great examples of the materials covered which help in your ventures in the job market.
