Students with custom projects must submit a
project proposal to their instructor for
approval.
Benefits
Explained:
Instructor-led Training: Students can choose
either our Instructor-led self-paced training or
our Instructor-led one-on-one training. Both
training choices guarantee students instructor
feedback, evaluation and course concept
clarification. Students registering for the
Instructor-led one-on-one training will have
telephone, instant messenger/net conferencing,
and email access to their instructor. Students
registering for the Instructor-led self-paced
training will have email access to their
instructor.
Live server space: We provide students access
to Web servers running PHP, ASP, and ColdFusion
MX. These servers are available to all
registered students for the duration of the
course at no additional cost. All students
are required to upload their homework assignments
to the school server. Instructions on how to
upload homework assignments are provided by the
school.
Convenient Schedule: Our training requires no
time and place commitments. Students can
access course lectures, projects, homework
assignments, and other course resources at any
time. Access is granted 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week.
Instructor Support: Our instructors are
available to answer questions on course topics,
homework assignments, projects and other course
related issues. Instructor Support is
available on weekdays between 9am and 4pm Eastern
Standard time. Instructors usually respond
with in a 2-6hour time frame.
Course/Program Certificate: The Internet
Learning Institute issues a certificate of
completion to students who successfully
complete their course. Completion of a course is
based on the completion of the final project. The
final project usually includes all concepts
covered in the course lectures.
Grade Report: We maintain a grade
reporting system. Students are generally
graded for homework assignments and final
projects. Students are emailed updated reports as
homework assignments and projects are evaluated
by instructors.
Instructor Homework Evaluation and Final Project
Evaluation: Our Instructors evaluate, grade
and provide feedback on all homework assignments
and projects. Evaluation, grading and feedback is
generally based
on coding techniques, presentation, mastery,
comprehension, utilization and application of
course lecture concepts. We always encourage our
students to go above and beyond the project
requirements.

About Complete
Certificate Courses
Complete certificate courses are detailed courses.
Instructors use extensive homework assignments and
projects to reinforce lecture topics.
Students must meet homework, lab,
and final project requirements before the course
certificate is issued.
Homework assignments and projects are evaluated based
on coding techniques, presentation, mastery,
comprehension, utilization and application of course
lecture concepts.
Multiple Registrations:
Note that multiple registrations are only
allowed with company purchase orders. School policy
generally requires that students register for one
course at a time.
How
to use your personal project as a basis for your
final course project: The school allows the use
of a personal project as a basis for a final
project. This option is excellent for students
working on related projects. Students are required
to submit a project proposal to their instructor for
approval. Instructors review project proposals to
ensure that they are within the course limits and to
ensure that the incorporate all concepts learned in
the class.
Note:
All students registered for complete certificate
courses have two months to complete their course
load. Students who take longer than two months will
be considered dormant. A dormant student is a
student who has failed to complete the required
course work within the allowed period. Dormant
students are required pay a course reactivation fee
of half (50%) of the current tuition. |
